Rewind 105.5 in Lexington KY went Christmas on 10/01 in anticipation of a format flip. Half-sister station Kiss 96.9 picked up the former Classic Hits format.
iHeart normally does all-Christmas on their AC stations in both Youngstown and Lexington.

And it continues... WVEZ (Play 106.9) in Louisville is all-Christmas as of today.
Personally this seems to me like a move that could backfire. Not only because this is way too early, but because the holidays are going to suck this year, and not only for the 200,000+ families who have lost loved ones to COVID. Most of the people I've talked to, including a friend of mine who posts on this board as Steve79 and is normally a diehard Christmas music enthusiast, say they're probably not even going to celebrate this year.

The Hallmark Channels are now all Christmas Movies. Lifetime is now also showing them.

As expected, lots of flips Halloween and today. Lexington now has two all-Christmas stations with Mix 94.5 making the move, as does central PA (WARM-FM and WROZ). In addition to WDZH in Detroit, 106.3 Mac-FM in the Straits is also all Christmas as is 106.1 in Marquette.
