This is pretty far along the line to "Thoughtcrime" as outlined in George Orwell's Novel 1984, which people dismiss now, even though it has just occurred 40 years late.

It has already happened where people's lives have been ruined for rants they made in their own homes, due to people reporting them, after the people turned against them.

My suggestion is that if you have Alexa devices, you either throw them out, disable them, unplug them, burn them, otherwise destroy them, or just be really careful. They do listen, and the listening is frequently out of context, because it is listened to by computers with stupid artificial intelligence, or by people in foreign countries who may not have a complete understanding of US idioms. You might just be rationally talking, and that stupid Alexa WILL RESPOND. I have friends who have been silenced by these things.

The word "fag" originally meant cigarette. The word "Fagotte" in music means a part made for a Bassoon. Both have elicited misinterpretation, which band and orchestra directors had to address. One bassoonist I knew squinted his eyes when he saw that the composer was Julius Fucik. The band director immediately said, "the composer's name is FUCIK". It's the classic music you hear at circuses, in case you don't know.

When you use the word FUCIK or any type of slur, you better be sure you are not near any mike, including bugging devices.

While Brennaman didn't do a full Brockmire, I doubt he'll ever call another major league game for the remainder of his career. Aside from breaking the Broadcasting 101, Rule 1 of considering every mic live at all times, the more troubling part was his apology which was equal parts asking forgiveness and asking to keep his job. When you bust out the "That's not who I am" card, it's probably a good indication it's exactly who you are. He also sprinkled in some 'ask my friends, they'll tell you I'm cool'' in the apology, and thus far it's been crickets.

I have reason to believe that some people are pretending to be gay in order to get certain jobs in Leftist enclaves. I have known some of these people for their entire lives. Should I turn them in? This is not new. People used to pretend to be gay in order to not be drafted into the Army, or like Klinger to get discharged, as art imitates life. Anyone can identify as gay according to new rules written by the Left. Do they check it out to verify that the person is gay? Do they bug their apartments? Do they make sure they get picked up in gay bars? Or just use Alexa to listen in to see if the person is having sexual relations with the same sex or a different sex? They sure have agents to verify if persons on Total and Permanent Disability are digging in their gardens. Should we DEFUND these agents and instead send them in to verify that people are gay?

Don't you see how all this will someday do YOU in? It's a double edged sword.
