95.7 SOUNDS A LOT like 105.3 nowadays, I can Imagine a lot of their listeners went to 94.5.
LMFAO AT 101.7 tying with 101.3 and 96.1 what a EPIC FAIL.
Nice rebound for 105.7, 100.5 has also seen its lowest ratings in a long time.

Nielsen audio round-up - #'s published on July 21
Re: Nielsen audio round-up - #'s published on July 21
I am trying to remember a time when WKFR wasn't the top station in Kzoo...
I can't think of it.

Why Midwest hasn’t flipped one of their garbage frequencies and taken on KFR is baffling. Just match them song for song, lean it slightly rhythmic and KFR is done.
Re: Nielsen audio round-up - #'s published on July 21
It's odd that iHeart pays for WMRR to be a subscriber in Grand Rapids, but not for WOOD or WSNX in Muskegon (both of which are licensed to Muskegon; it's doubly odd that WBFX and WSRW, who both have so-so signals in Muskegon, are Muskegon subscribers)

You are right on there. They predictably half assed i92.9 in Lansing and we saw what happened there.MWmetalhead wrote: ↑Sun Jul 26, 2020 8:02 am Midwest would half-ass it, though. I do not at all trust them to perform the job properly. For some reason, WVFM and WNWN-FM are the only stations where they seem willing to invest $$$.
Even 590 WKZO has become a steaming pile of garbage!!! It's a disgrace what they've let happen to 590, frankly.
I think part of the problem is guys like VP programming Midwest Jeff McCarthy frankly have just been around for too long. They bring the same boring philosophy that worked in the 90’s to today’s mainstream stations and it just doesn’t work. Some of these guys have no clue what is “mainstream” today and are unwilling to spend the time listening to, and taking suggestions from, up and coming young programmers who live the lifestyle. Radio is dying right before our very eyes. Least we could do is prepare the young few that are interested in our business to be somewhat successful by using their passion and creativity without burdening them with stale philosophies and outdated ideas.

I agree. Don't they have that CHR is GB that's top of the ratings?

Yep, 101.1 WIXX Green Bay. Listen to them all the time in ludington area. Funny thing. They used to have sister station wild 99.7 back in the early 2000’s they pretty much covered the Pop rhythmic hits that they did not play to protect its ratings.
