MLB will be playing 60 games as the owners approved of 60 game season and the players signed on to the deal.

I think it's a mistake doing so. Really no sense in playing 102 less games. Sadly it's all about the money and not the players. Plus they'll be competing for viewership from other sports. Further, I don't understand why the NL is going to use the DH. Why was that even in the conversation?

So which season is the joke..... the 60 game season or the 162 game season? I propse a 140 game season..... they go way too long and start way too early. I really despise the runner on 2nd in xtra innings to try to shorten the game up. This is not how the game should be played, it's like a circus/gimmicky way to try to end the game. Next thing you know they'll be having a HR hitting contest to end these games, most blasts over the fence out of 10 pitches wins it! How bout that!

I don't really like baseball, but why in the hell do they have to play 162 games or its not worth it? Also, what is the big deal about a DH. In a real sport where players are switched out by position, you have offensive and defensive specialists.

PREDICTION: COVID 11 MLB 0

There is no way they will finish this baseball season. Players will continue to be tested and cases will add up big-time. Eventually, 1/3 to 1/2 of some teams will all come down with this shit and minor leaguers will be called up. It will turn into a complete clusterfuck.

I think the normal seasons should be reduced. No other sport plays 162 regular season games. I would suggest something in the neighborhood of 100-125 games.
