Wow.
How can stations not have redundancies built in to to make sure major systems aren’t knocked offline?
Heads need to roll and major changes are needed in 12’s engineering department.
I feel bad for the talent that were told to go on air with basically no plan and no chance to put on a newscast that they could be proud of.
ABC12 news production went to hell
Re: ABC12 news production went to hell
The CE is so cheap, he was probably running a free download of Malwarebytes.lovinlife101 wrote: ↑Tue Feb 11, 2020 9:36 pm No Internet, no controller, no camera, no video, no teleprompter.
Just shut the place down!
12 had a long laundry list of system weakness’s. The CE always implemented incomplete systems that needed work arounds in order for them to communicate. SOP for years.
The IT guys at 12 are top notch, but are at a disadvantage having to work under him.
What happened yesterday will have no affect on anything there.
Just another day.

ABC12 whole operation has been bad for a long time. Thier morning news cast is one of the worst in the area. A real dumpster fire. The morning hen house thing just doesn't work well. Wish they would get rid of the high pitched princess traffic girl.
