The hesitation making Ahmad chief meteorologist has a lot to do with Toldo.

The station really wants someone outside for that position. Choosing Ahmad over Toldo would likely prompt a lawsuit from Toldo. She sued ABC12 saying black men were treated better than her.

Choosing Toldo over Ahmad would not sit well with him either. Just cleaner to hire someone new and not pay either one additional amounts in the meantime.

DAC: agree with you about Frank Turner being underutilized. But how much of that is his doing? Did Frank ask for the midday and early evening shows... keeping him off the higher profile late evening newscasts? He also does very few special projects.

Frank is just thankful to be vertical. He’s quite literally been to hell and back.

IN MY OPINION..... Frank has a very professional appearance, reads his script very well, and does real good with written material in front of him. If you ever notice, when he goes off script, and interacts will others, he makes a statements then laughs or chuckles. That happens 100% of the time. I have wondered, if he goes to a funeral, expresses his condolences, then laughs or chuckles. I haven't figured his angle out yet, but it is like he diminishes his statement(s) with humor.

Maybe he’s Dr. Hibbert.
