WJBK Fox2 has posted a number of job openings. Some in sales, technical and graphics areas, but interesting that one is for "Meteorologist, Regular, Full-time."
Adding on, someone leaving, or part-timer/temp changing status?

There's more than one fill-in at Fox2. What or who "now" are you talking about? IMO, two I"m aware of, Lori Pinson and Jill Washburn, are excellent, both are degreed meteorologists and know their stuff.

Pinson is...from Penn State. Great program. Washburn is not. She has the typical "certificate."

How many do they need?

Luterman - BS in Meteorology, Penn State. AMS seal of approval.

Kevra - Meteorology, U of M. AMS CBM.

Longstreet - ?

Pinson - Penn State and Johns Hopkins. AMS CBM, NWA seal of approval.

Washburn - Arts, MSU. Meteorology, Penn State.

A 6 month on-line course with a certificate does not give one an AMS seal. Thank you for playing.

I think the Fox2 crew does pretty good, especially relative to 4 and 7.
