Why in this day and age with other broadcasting platforms do we need to build brand new AM facilities, we have static free FM radio and internet radio at our fingertips and FM will always be there when the internet is not functioning for whatever reason, so why waste 100's of thousands of $ on AM facilities most of the AM stations will be gone in 10 years and WCXI and WPON will probably be the first ones to go.
