Is it a constant clicking, or just when mics are on in the studio and not during live shots?

It was happening throughout their prime time programming as well last night. Do they have any Master Control ops or engineers watching their over the air signal?

That clicking sound you hear during newscasts in general, not just ABC 12, is the news people checking the Drudge Report for breaking stories.

I believe it's the janitor's job to monitor the air feeds now.

Could it be the sound of weapons being readied coming from the great neighborhoods around the station? There’s a reason they have the station property fenced off as much as they do.

25 and 66 aren’t in any better location, but there hasn’t been a mention of clicking there, has there?

I’d visited 66 years ago, but didn’t end up working there. It wasn’t anything like the Pierson Rd compound they’ve set up now by fencing off their building and parking lot, as well as that of the former tire store next door that they’d taken over, as well.

I stopped by 12 once as well, but it already was the mighty fortress by that time. They chose that location to be close to the news, but this can’t be the best they could do now.

Another theory: the Jets and the Sharks are practicing for a rumble (or a song), and the clicking is their finger-snapping while keeping the rhythm.
