TV5 Better Holiday Deals

Unread post by autolab »

How can David Custer and Meg McLeod claim to be journalists when they're forced to read infomercials in the station's annual Better Deals "show"?

Station management (GM, News Director, Sales Director) all should be fired for allowing this breach of fundamental journalistic ethics. Plus it's just plain old bad TV.

Why would anyone watch to get a deal (?) on Angelo's Coney Island. they're already dirt cheap.

Color me shocked! Air talent asked to announce their stations promotions!! Outrageous.

They were probably forced to do it. It's TV 5. Al and Ian have left, but the circus is still in town.

Can't exactly blame David Custer and Meg McLeod. They are just doing what they are told. If anything, upper management should be to blame.

Meg is doing whatever she can to keep a job. After dropping the 7:00 newscasts, she is not in demand as she once was. In January, look for her to go to weekends before fading into oblivion.

Meg needs to jump to either 12 or 25/66 when her contract with 5 expires...

I would look for a better option than 12 or 25.
