Is it me or do others agree ABC12 has the most dramatic weather person in the morning? Cristina Burkhart. Thier entire operation is terrible in the morning

The mandate to "hype up" the forecasts comes from the top: their GM, News Director and Chief Met.

Maybe so, but John mc Murray was never like that when he would give forecast.

I think retail supermarkets and local meteorologist are in cahoots. Over-hype the weather, drum up a lot of business for supermarkets.

I don't think you understand what I mean by dramatic. She seems like a drama queen as she does the forecast or ditzy. Lol

I’ve been watching Christina on the mornings since she replaced Johnny Mac. She doesn’t come across as overly dramatic or over hyped at all.

TV5, on the other hand, takes the cake on drama queens and kings doing weather....

WNEM goes overboard on everything -- example #152: the Road Warriors. I thought things would get better when Ian and Al left... but nope.

Chris Easlick is about the only TV5 met that gets how to do a real forecast without resulting to the sky is falling when we get 1+ inches of snow.

Kincade: big difference is John McMurray had ethics and would stand up to Kirtek and Hodak. Christina doesn't.

As in dramatic weather if I had a dime for Everytime she says " Oh My Gosh" I'd be rich . Lol She ( Christina Burkhart) is such a drama queen. She needs to be less dramatic or ditzy.
