I've noticed they'll post something in the am and later on in the day they post it again, especially with controversial topics. Like they are stirring the pot.

Repeating a story at schedule times during the day is due to audience turn over. It's done for the same reason your music director schedules the same song more than once in your shift. That is, if anyone on this forum is actually in the broadcast business anymore.

And this apparently is a shock for a lot of people... Facebook is not for news. Facebook is a social media platform. The goal is to get as much engagement from your followers as possible. So yeah, they post the stories most likely to get your hackles up to entice you comment. Even if you only comment to criticize...they don't care. Criticize as much as you want. Call them all the names. Counter their article with your own links. The more you do the more their "Actions on Page", "Post Engagements", "Reach" and other analytics goes up. Congratulations, you just helped them out big time by doing so.
