Did Alt 98.7 ditch their HD feeds? Can’t seem to pick it up now with my factory replacement radio. The other HD’s worked.

In my lifetime I’ve had the pleasure of watching some of the greats cover sports- Eli, Don, Bernie. I even have faint memories of Al Ackerman. That being said, Dan is the greatest. Always enjoyed watching his sportscasts and think he does a great job with the Lions!

I felt same- bummed that Windsor stations not included. Then again be careful what we wish for. They could all become religious/ethnic stations. Then you really have wasted frequencies.

I’m a Sparty and a Valenti fan. Just seemed like there wasn’t as much excitement as there could be about the Michigan win. I do believe the sign stealing cast a cloud over this team and their accomplishment. That being said, they did seem like a legitimate, talented team.

OTA would be great. Seems like the Tigers could build their audience. Back in the 1990’s the Tigers had some of the highest TV ratings in the country.

I feel like WDZR was about to take off in the ratings. Their hard rock / hair band format did great at first. WOWF was the last run of the Fox (former WDFX.). We knew the format flip was coming. I still liked the CHR /Rock format of it’s predecessor, WDTX.

We should be doing cartwheels about this format change. An AM station flipping to something other than religious or super niche programming! I’m hoping it succeeds on some level. Like to see who they get for local talent.

This is a sad day for FM radio….only a matter of time before more FM stations flip to fringe formats. I agree with others- ever since the flip to country 93.1 has been dead to me. Still, would have liked to seen a new format- anything besides religious.

I remember Spike and Sarah on WXDG 105.1 “The Edge.” Was Spike on Buzz 95 WVIC in East Lansing too? Sorry to see him go. Just another reminder about how bleak the future of FM radio is.
