Re: Blame the victim

Because we have single stream pick up, I put all my stuff in one container, the glass ends up with all colors mixed together which garners less money.

Re: Blame the victim

We have a pretty aggressive recycling program here in Ann Arbor. I can put my cottage cheese containers in the bin for pickup.
I put glass in there too but evidently the glass market is somewhat depressed so they grind the glass up and sprinkle it on the landfill roads for dust control.

Re: Fake news, agenda-driven bias, and ignorance

Here is a link to two separate videos on the Washington Mall incident. One is short, at under 4 minutes, with HD quality video and pretty good audio. It shows what happened in the stare down The other video is long....an hour and 40 plus minutes. It comes from the Black Hebrew Israelites that were d...

Re: I fully support the Trump immigration proposal

Just a point of fact about the cost of a wall. I doubt it's factored in when numbers like 5 billion dollars are tossed out but all that money is paid to the private sector that turns around and gives some back in the form of taxes. Most of the trillions of dollars spent by the Government was and is ...

I measured 1.5 inches at 7:30am on my picnic table. It's now 4.5 inches at 1:30 pm.

Re: Radio Garden Phone App

I haven't paid attention. More curious about far away lands that speak English. So I don't really know the exact location anyway.

Radio Garden Phone App

My brother told me about a phone app called radio garden. I downloaded it this morning and have been toying with it. Essentially it gives you a map of the world with radio stations all over the world and a little crosshair in the middle and you swing the map until the crosshair lines up for the radi...

Re: Police worship

If I might change the topic for a moment....
when my lovely wife makes rice these days she cooks it in chicken broth instead of water......It really adds some pizazz to an otherwise rather bland side dish.

Re: What cell phone do you have?

I have a Moto G4 I bought for $200. I got it for the price first and the fact that it is compatible with every carrier. I am a month to month Verizon guy.
My next one will almost for sure be a Moto G6 for the same reason.

I'm about 65% sure once a new post shows up after yours you can no longer delete it. However you can edit it.....to something nonsensical which can achieve the same end.
