Re: NYC Subways Full

It didn't become a pandemic attacking old people. What part of state of emergency in New York screams.....for old people only? They weren't shutting down schools and colleges and college sports because it was an old peoples disease. The guy screwed up and I can't engage with somebody who can't compr...

Re: NYC Subways Full

You missed another one - that their mayor was on national TV on March 10th encouraging everyone under the age of 50 to just go about their normal daily lives - because as he put it, the virus isn't really that contagious and because it isn't any worse than the flu. It is amusing to me that the same...

Re: This person makes for a bad experience here.

I haven't foe'd 101 but I mostly try to ignore him/her/it. He/she/it is almost a textbook definition of an internet troll. I won't post a definition but if anyone Googles up Internet troll what you see describes 101 to a t.

Re: Trump starts a drug dealer war today?

“...he’s f—king nuts!” The most recent quote from TC Talks regarding Trump’s NPD symptomatic words/behaviors - so easily observable yesterday with Trump’s military parade at the Coronavirus briefing. Resembling a sick joke one might laugh at watching South Park. Yes, indeed. Trump is mentally ill w...

Re: Trump starts a drug dealer war today?

Not sure if this drug war is needed or will work as planned but it's not relevant that we have a pandemic going on. It's not the military fighting the "war against the invisible enemy". The military preforming this exercise won't negatively impact the pandemic fight. Unless you think the United Stat...

Re: Where's the evidence that "Stay at Home" slows the spread?

"....... and once the Q and A starts it looks like a Trump Rally." Interesting that you see it that way. I see several legitimate questions asked, a couple of softballs tossed in his lap and a bunch of questions designed to make him look bad for sound bites. I don't see the Trump rally other than h...

Re: Where's the evidence that "Stay at Home" slows the spread?

Even the administration is spitting out the 200,000 deaths figure as a best case... Actually they spit out less than 100,000 as the best case. They said latest models suggested 100,000 to as much as 240,000 IF Americans buy in to social distancing. But Dr. Fauci said they were not settling for thos...

Re: Where's the evidence that "Stay at Home" slows the spread?

Just to be clear the mortality figures tossed out yesterday....and I watched the entire press conference, come from "third party modeling" done by experts in the field. They aren't conjured up in the White House.

Re: Amazon's Prioritization Of Deliveries

To be fair, and I was called out on this by others in the past, if you read the "fine print" they never promised 2 day delivery from the time we placed an order. They promise 2 day shipping . We have gotten used to it being one in the same but its not. The promise is 2 days from when its shipped but...

Saw an interesting quote which as far as I know is factual
"The virus doesn't move. People move the virus. If people stop moving the virus stops moving with them.

Re: Amazon's Prioritization Of Deliveries

I ordered a couple things Saturday.. a carrying case for my phone....coming Thursday. And a 600 pack of disposable gloves that won't come till April 17. I've been a member since 2008 and I am wondering if its worth it. When I started I think I paid $80 a year and now its $120. I need to crunch my or...

It’s also filling a major need there... undoubtedly shortages elsewhere will be filled in a similar way. I'm sure its filling a major need. Re: N95 Masks Depleted Under Obama

Snoops calls the story "mixed". Yes the supply was severely depleted under Obama and he did not replenish it. But rather than just call it true they brought up that Trump had 3 years to fix it and didn't either.
So I guess Obama ignored it for 7 years and Trump did for 3.
