Re: Gun rights rally, no violence

Most all demonstrations/rallys/protests are peaceful until counter protesters decide to make their point at the same time and location in an attempt to disrupt the free speech of those they oppose. The one exception is far left protests occasionally involve destroying cars and store fronts without a...

Re: College Football Is Broken Says Detroit Free Press

Yes the 0-16 Lions would win. Maybe not destroy but certainly not close....24-10 sort of thing. No matter how bad the Lions were by NFL standards they had an entire roster good enough to make the NFL. LSU might have 5 or 6 who will make it in the NFL. They went undefeated beating a bunch of teams wh...

Re: College Football Is Broken Says Detroit Free Press

The talent on display is breathtaking. In a vacuum, if you simply want to see the highest-level football possible, then you’re set
.

They may be the best of college but they couldn't beat the worst NFL team's.....maybe 1 time in a 100.

Re: College Football Is Broken Says Detroit Free Press

Too early to say. Historically these things are cyclical.
In the not overly distant past USC, Texas, Nebraska,Penn State, Miami (Florida) Florida, just to name a few were powerhouses.

I have a new toilet and an old toilet in my house. My 3-9 year old grankids can clog either of them with relative ease.

Re: My road funding proposal (flashback to April 2019)...

Many many years ago my brother worked for a local waste hauling firm in middle management. He said they routinely overloaded trucks because the chances of getting caught and the fines if they did were minimal.

Re: Mental Illness

I don't smoke pot but did many many years ago in my youth. I am not a fan and tend to think its not a good idea. But I feel like the op-ed makes more of a case that mentally ill people smoke pot rather than pot causes mental illness. If 99% of schizophrenics smoke pot it doesn't say much if only 0.0...

Well stated and well thought out Matt. I often think of you as a little too much of a Michigan "slappy" but this is very insightful.

I'd like to c&p this to my Facebook wall with your permission.

Speaking genericallySometimes there's no better place to go. Or sometimes the logistics are impossible.
Ironically our southern border is inundated with people using the "big world" concept to find a better place.

Re: What does 9 million dollars buy?

As fans we like to think he was hired to....win the big one...get to Indy...win a championship....beat O/MSU fill in whatever goal you think he hasn't reached. But the reality is he was hired to keep the football machine a cash cow. To that end he is successful. 110,000 fans at games, remarkably hig...

Re: Greta Thunberg's Fast Food, Plastic Container Filled Tesla Trash

That guy with the microphone offers no evidence about whose car it is other than his word. Since he referred to her as "Saint Greta" its safe to say he isn't a fan, may have an agenda, and again offered no evidence to back his claim.

Based on her Facebook pictures I'd sign up for sexual battery. But I'm evidently not her demographic.

I hope you aren't losing sleep over this.
I see the point but the moniker is sort of catchy like 90s, double zeros and today isn't.
