R.I.P.
I always took the armchair closest to the fireplace.
Don't know how far into the U.S. the show reached, but I think we saw it on channel 9 from Windsor.

"do any of you realize that the first two cars LP's and the hits that went along with them are from 78-79?"

Shock and Awe!
Heard them first on W4, picked up the LP at Dearborn Music, was that the 70's?
Far out man, I must have tripped right thru that era :hat

Ain't never gonna happen!
This short sighted crap by the cable conglomerates is why "cord cutting" has become so prevalent.

Re: Jackson area OTA

I'm amazed you can get all the locals with rabbit ears.
I would definitely recommend an outdoor antenna where you are.
I have an antenna mounted on a T-post outside my barn that works far better than an indoor antenna.
Just make sure you get one with a VHF element for WILX.

Re: Jackson area OTA

OK, from an Antennas Direct antenna pointed WNW at 40' 10 miles north of Jackson: 6-1 10-1-3 17-1-4 23-1-4 41-1-4 43-1-6 47-1-5 53-1-2 64-1-3 I didn't note what net is on what channel, but that's the channels that come in reliably. Yes this is a duplicate post from a post on another section of the b...

Re: Potential Red Flag Nightmares

Nope. The fact that you constantly accuse the President of NPD, yet refuse to acknowledge BPD says everything about you picking and choosing your crazed flights of fancy. "LOOK AT ME EVERYBODY!! I'M RIGHT!!! I'VE GOT SOMETHING TO SAY!! EVEN IF I TALK TO MYSELF IN THREADS THAT I START!! I'M RIGHT!!" ...

Re: LED Lighting

I changed out some shop lights for the Menards LED shoplights, they are kicking out so much RFI on FM freqs that I had to move my antenna to the far end of the building and go to RG-6 coax.

"Your example is a colorful detailed story that reveals your thinking about women. Sigmund Freud might flag it as a Freudian Slip o’ the lip, Dip." Actually Screenie, since you're the expert on personality disorders around here, this is an example of BPD, and it happens everyday in the good 'ol USA....

Re: Listeners are abandoning local radio in droves in the Lansing market

"It's Lansing in general. The whole place looks like it's economically running on fumes. It never looked that way back in the '80's." You mean like the red light district across from the Capitol that is now long gone? Or the strip mall at Michigan and Penn that used to have working ladies out front,...

Re: Listeners are abandoning local radio in droves in the Lansing market

The Lansing radio market is no longer relevant. The days of Tim, Rich, etc.. with something interesting to say is gone. There is nothing that distinguishes Lansing from Sirius. Everything is voicetracked, sometimes they even have the wrong days voicetrack airing. The TV stations are the only place t...
