Re: I've racked my brain all week
I don't usually post on the political page, because I don't really give a rats ass about politics. Don't get me wrong, I do vote and have voted in every election since I was first eligible in 1972. You know the election where Charlie Daniels in Uneasy Rider said "he even voted for George McGovern ...

I don't think Greg is ignoring your suggestions. Knowing him like I do, I believe he doesn't quite comprehend what you guys are talking about. Frankly I'm not sure myself what you guys are talking about. His posts on my computer look the exact same as mine or all the other posts. Of course, I am an ...

I can assure you that Greg Buben is indeed a real person. I've known Greg for over 40 years and worked with him at WYCE and WGVU. He is one of the most passionate people about the radio business that I've ever met.

Re: A subtle change to YouTube TV lineup in Metro Detroit region
I like the the You Tube TV streaming service. I used it both at home and up at the lake and only have to pay $72.99 a month to use it at both places. I pay $19.99 extra for Bally sports because I watch the Tigers and the Red Wings a lot. Before I went to You Tube TV, I was paying lots of money to ...

Tim Achterhoff R.I.P.
It is with great sadness that I make this post. My long time friend Tim Achterhoff passed away on Sunday October 6. Tim was the long time Program Director/General Manager at WMUS in Muskegon. Tim started at MUS as a 17 year old kid in 1965. He was the one who suggested to management that they change ...

Re: Detroit Tigers 2024
I love the Tigers and love it that they won this series. However, I still hate it when 3rd place teams get to eliminate 1st place teams. Again, however if we still had the old east and west divisions, in most seasons, Houston wouldn't have had a first place team either. So far, home field advantage ...

Thank God by 2035 I either won't be here anymore, or if I am, probably too old to drive. : )

Re: WCSG News Director Becky Carlson retires
Congratulations to Becky. Enjoy your retirement. 40 years at one station is amazing. Chuck Latour is a good guy. He also was the morning news man for many years with Dave and Geri at WLHT in the 80's and 90's.

Re: Kevin Richards out at IHeartless
Captain Charlie Tigchon, a retired Grand Rapids Police Department Captain did traffic from the dispatch office of the GRPD for WOOD radio for several years. Charlie did the morning shift I believe and GRPD 9-1-1 operator Bill Gravlin did the afternoon traffic reports also directly from the GRPD ...

Re: Detroit Tigers 2024
Information I see on his contract status is that Tarik is tied to the tigers through the 2026 season. If..........the tigers were to trade him now, that would pretty much tell tiger fans that the organization is not committed to building a contending team. IMHO.

I have never met Mr. Haveman, but I wish him the best in his retirement. I do know Dodd Morris and he is a good guy. Good luck to Dodd in his new position.

Re: Dr Ruth dead in New York
I may be wrong but I think WLAV-FM may have aired her program on Sunday nights in the mid 80's. I was working the Sunday night shift at WGRD at that time and I seem to recall her program being on the air opposite my shift on GRD.
