I don't here ABC news when i listen to WWJ. I hear their own version of breaking news, usually local. I miss CBS news at the top of the hour.

Wow this hits hard as I've listened to WWJ all my life. I've always preferred CBS over FOX and ABC for the top of the hour stuff and really everything else on the radio.

I know it's a pipe dream but I would love to hear some 80's alternative on 89X liked the good old days I remember. Maybe some Psychedelic Furs, Smiths, New Order etc.
I will say I have liked much of what I've heard but would love more older stuff.

Listening to 89X right now on my little Magnavox boombox I got around 1990. It's the same one I used to listen to the "cutting edge" on when it was evenings only on 88.7 way back when. I like Eli, I don't mind cop cams. I've said it a few times before but I have no use for Karl or worse yet Stuttering John. Why would anyone care what Stuttering John has going on in his life and why people try to make money by making fun of him. I do not understand what they call the Dabbleverse ...

The problem with random calls is nobody answers the phone anymore. They try and call places every now and then and it's usually a big fail. on yesterday's show they tried to call the Pro Football Hall of Fame about OJ and it was a total fail.

I think it is all the Stuttering John and Karl stuff is Drew's way to try to stay fresh and relevant in the podcast world. Cop cams are just an extension to Drew's fascination with Cops, cop pants, and true crime! I don't mind the cop cam segments though. People are crazy.

I'll second AM950 WWJ. I often put it on thinking I'll just listen til traffic and weather is over. Next thing I know 30 minutes has gone by and I'm still listening.

I don't think Drew would love having this out there for public consumption. Why post it?

I'll tell you what I am sick of hearing about on the podcast, Jada Pinkett Smith and Corey Feldman. It's really stupid how much time they spend on these two unimportant people.
