Re: Jayne Hodak MAB Executive Director of Programs

Congrats to Jayne! It’ll be good to have a news person in charge of programming aimed at improving our industry. Great choice by the MAB.

Re: Breaking Cornhole News

Or will there? Maybe Beer is onto something. Maybe 5, 12, 25 and 66 will all cease to exist. (After all, does Flint really need 4 news producing TV stations covering Eric Mays getting tossed out of yet another Flint City Council meeting?) Maybe, just maybe, 46 is the last station standing. Beer woul...

Re: Breaking Cornhole News

It would be funny if the station wasn’t so poorly managed. The long closed Meijer is better run and has better profits than 25-66.

Re: Breaking Cornhole News

Beer: some things will remain a mystery to both you and I. However, one thing we can count on, I will continue to “hold the powerful accountable” within the pristine gold plated walls of 25-66’s GM’s office. Maybe one day they’ll promote me. Maybe they won’t. But when it comes to a Sinklair reign, y...

Re: Breaking Cornhole News

No crying here. And no foul language. I’ll leave that to others.

I appreciate the back handed compliment, though.

Thanks for playing...

Re: Breaking Cornhole News

Beer: once again you don’t know what you’re talking about. Me and others have spoken up and said this is not a good idea. But the egomaniac/accountant in chief sees himself as this programming genius that he clearly isn’t. The Assistant GM, the in over her head News Director, the Director of Declini...

Re: Breaking Cornhole News

Beer: you are defending 25-66-46’s decision. Why? I didn’t say corn hole wasn’t a “sport”. I said: The local event wasn’t big enough to justify throwing the whole kitchen including the sink into this level of a production. That putting the show on CW doesn’t make any sense since most people won’t se...

Re: Breaking Cornhole News

If this was such a big deal, why isn’t Sinclair owned Fox Sports Detroit airing this? Simple... it’s not that big of an event. It is a pet project for the accountant in chief and his minions. Quick... roll the live crews... we have a Bridge tournament breaking out at the Bay City Senior Center! Wher...

Breaking Cornhole News

As WNEM would put it “JUSTIN” to the Mid-Michigan Now Newsroom... CW46 is your official home of cornhole championship coverage. https://nbc25news.com/features/cornhole-tournament/local-cornhole-championship-to-air-on-cw46 I’m not sure what Bill Harris is going to talk about for two hours... but I’m ...

Re: Painful to watch

At least 12 has a sat truck, drone, northern bureau, etc.

Sinclair and it’s local accountant in chief won’t invest those resources in 25-66.

12’s problem is that they lost practically all of their engineering and IT staff to 25-66, leading to lots of tech issues.

Justin

Who is “JUSTIN”? I keep getting TV5 alerts with the title “JUSTIN”. Can someone over there tell whoever is pushing out stories that he/she is missing a space. It should be “JUST IN”. Does anyone check this stuff? Are they high school students who failed a basic spelling/grammar class?ASKINGFORAFRIEND

Re: Lighten the Load

Every station is using viewer photos in newscasts. The problem with low staffing at 25-66 is unique. 25-66 has always been the least staff and most underpaid operation in the Flint-Saginaw DMA. In the past year, we’ve shed another eight or so positions — people either let go or jobs not filled when ...
