Re: Ron Cameron

Yes, that’s Greg. As opposed to Mark from Warren.

Alex mentioned the possibility of the NBA starting the new season on MLK Day. I’d better dollars to donuts that Ron has no idea when that is.

Re: Ron Cameron

Greg from Warren called in the first hour to say that streaming was down today (& that Ron should get a discount). Martin stepped in later to say what to do to correct that.

Re: Ron Cameron

You may have missed it, Alex, but Kurt called in & told Ron he is wrong. Ron just shrugged it off.

Re: Ron Cameron

Ron’s again promising Mark Wilson, who’s “frustrated by this virus.” In the next 2-3 weeks.

Re: Ron Cameron

We haven’t heard Ron rail against Bill Keenist in some time. That used to be a regular part of Ron’s arsenal.

Re: Ron Cameron

Alex, if you're talking about the Series, I once again request that you please correct Ron's incorrect correction (of Kurt) that the Rays' Willy Adames was not originally a member of the Tigers' organization. Still scratching my head that he would not know that Adames was a key part of the David Pri...

Re: Ron Cameron

Ok, thanks. So you listen for the guests & Ron's stories of yesteryear. And not so much for his take on the current sports scene.

Re: Ron Cameron

Has Ron ever been married?Does he have any family.Has he ever even had a girl friend. He seems like a lonely old man living alone in a motel hoping to relive his glory days .It seems really sad.The only thing he has going for him is his love of sports. Kidcat, for a taste of Ron's personal life, I r...

How long do you think it will take us to get to 80 pages on this new thread?
It’s been a little less than 10 months from this December 22, 2019 post & here we are on our 81st page. A very long 10 months, though.

Re: Ron Cameron

With his experience shaking down pizzerias and other small businesses, we know Ron has a real aptitude for retail politics. A middle school dropout, with roots to the common man, he's an entirely self-made man, one with a long history of running his own successful radio shows & restaurants. And he's...

Re: Ron Cameron

Ron should have been in politics. Without ever having a permanent address, Ron would be the only politician not registered to vote. His constituency would be the lowest information non-voters. And his platform would consist entirely of a promise to open a dive restaurant in every community. With an...

Re: Ron Cameron

Alex, with the Rays headed for the Series, please correct the record on Friday with Ron about Willy Adames. Kurt, a more than willing recipient of Ron's questionable intelligence, e.g., the "death" of Gutterball Tony, mentioned that Adames was a former Tigers' minor-leaguer. Amazingly, and with zero...

Re: Ron Cameron

Hope it was for a return of his old sponsor, Larry Flynt’s Gentleman’s Club. Live read I take it? That must have been a hoot, in the parlance of Ron’s time. They weren’t a sponsor for very long, but, yes, Ron would read their commercials. So do you think Ron got paid money for those commercials or ...
