The address was registered a little while back but I see the go daddy page isn't popping up anymore and it looked like there about to launch the site. It's rumored the format was possibly going to go gospel and IMO it's looking that way.
Acceptable registrations in the queue through May 12 at 7:00p ET have now been activated. Enjoy! -M.W.

The site's not up quite yet, and there are no posts to the FB page either. I wonder before the station went silent after a day if the religious talk was just a placeholder?

A little surprised it has taken them this long to get set up, from when they initially went off the air in early May and still off in mid-June. Makes me wonder if they plan to do some local programming, in addition to whatever Gospel satellite network they plan to air.

Costs money to have your station sit for a month, at least stunt and play something 16 hours a day to have people keep their 106.5 preset on their car radio?

You could buy a really nice car for cost of one month's tower rent at WTOD.
Ask not what your country can do FOR you; ask what they are about to do TO YOU!!
Re: Praise 106.5 Toledo?
audiophile, good question about the tower. Didn't Cumulus sell all of their towers to a 3rd party, who can charge them monthly rent? So how would this work for the new suckers/owners of 106.5? They have to pay to lease tower/transmitter shack fees to the tower owner monthly? How much did that go up to? I assume it makes no sense for the new owners to try and put their own tower up in Swantucky and share it with another station to reduce the costs?

Cumulus signed a 10 year deal with Vertical Bridge. The new owners of WTOD are stuck paying insane rates.
