Some registered account users are experiencing password recognition issues. The issue appears to have been triggered by a PHP update on October 30. If this is occurring, please try logging in and using the "forgot password?" utility. Bear in mind auto-generated password reset emails may appear in your spam folder. If this does not work, please click the "Contact Us" option near the lower right hand corner of the index page to contact me via email. I have responded to all password reset requests received through 6a ET on November 7. You should see an email from the "Admin" email account.

November 9 update: Due to app errors, I have disabled the Tapatalk plug-in. As such, the Buzzboard is currently unavailable in Tapatalk. I am trying to do a clean reinstall, but each reinstall attempt is generating database errors. I am hopeful that the issue will be able to be resolved in the next few days.

WLNS/WLAJ RF14

Since WLNS/WLAJ moved to RF14 I have been getting a weird signal from them everyday at all hours.But cant get a lock.

Comes in like gangbusters for 3 sec then goes out.Wait a bit and does same thing.Did they move to another tower closer to the D or up their power???

Anyone else getting this around the metro???

They were at the WLAJ site in Rives Junction at 425K, now back at Okemos WLNS site at 950K. :shock:

Must be the increased power then, but still to far away to get a lock on the signal.

Im only at 25ft up maybe an antenna at 50ft could lock.

They're on RF 14, which might be the best channel for digital TV

From the standpoint of attenuation, terrain, and edge effects, it would be the best UHF channel...

BUT, the antenna manufacturing companies have not changed the tooling of their beam (Yagi and LPY) antennas. Those types of antennas, in general, show the highest gain on channel 83, with gain declining with lower frequency.

If someone would change their tooling for peak performance at channel 36 (simply a larger 4:3 scale model of the 14-83 design), the antenna would produce more gain across its entire modern passband.
