The family who purchased my former house are Muslim.

What would the dopey Fox News commenters and interviewees prefer? That the housing stock remain empty for years, become dilipidated, and stripped of plumbing just like what happened in so many sections of Detroit?

In fairness, a good percentage of commenters did say they have no issue with their Muslim neighbors.

The story definitely has bigotry overtones. Funny how there are no stories about traffic jams caused by Christian mega churches.

The bigotry is the point. Having spent a hell of a lot of time in Warren in my life (my late grandparents lived on Roan, 10 mile between Hoover and Schoenherr) I heard more racism and bigotry than you'd know. Most of the racial slurs I know (and have since I was a young child) were from my family in Warren. Apparently little has changed.
