Jeopardy! Glitch

I'm sure viewers of last evening's episode of Jeopardy!, at least in the Detroit area, were as perplexed as I was to see an entirely new trio of contestants appear for Double Jeopardy including a new champion, and then the original trio appear for Final Jeopardy! 
I was saying "What the f--k! Is this a new format?"
