They seem to be playing about 5 songs an hour in the morning when Bob & Tom air, per TuneGenie. I'm hearing Evenflow by Pearl Jam on the stream right now.

Is the music airing during unsold commercial breaks, or is WZUU airing a butchered version of Bob & Tom?

I know a station that airs John Boy & Billy spins tunes during unsold breaks. I would bet that is the case here.

Bob & Tom syndication now offering "Bob & Tom Plus" allowing affiliate stations to implement local content, promotions and music within the show.

Lansing radio listeners are notoriously adverse to any change whatsoever. Bob and Tom probably have a waiting list of advertisers there because the same burnout tool and die makers and drywall hangers have been listening religiously for almost 30 years now on Q106, laughing at the same lame Boomer jokes the whole time. After 10:00, they switch over to WMMQ for the rest of the day to get their Kansas and Blue Oyster Cult fix.

I try not to rag on shit often, but Bob and Tom sucks. I don't listen to FM much, but I can get it on Q106 and WIOT. WIOT sucks either way, but that shit needs to go.

That's exactly what it is. I've been done with these morning zoo/howard sterns/fuckstick and dipshit in the morning with six other voices shows. But, hey, bully for Jeff the truck driver, who, since 1988, has listened to shit like Boob and Turd and then slides into twofer Tuesday with Foghat and Eagles on repeat all day.

Getting a new work truck with Bluetooth was such a life saver. Before that, I had earbuds in. It isn't worth it anymore.

I swear some of the stupidest programming "minds" in radio history were responsible for 106.7 The Drive in Detroit. It was a truly terrible sounding radio station. Bob & Tom (who had already flopped miserably on 102.9 in Ann Arbor) stood ZERO chance of working against Drew & Mike, and the manner in which 106.7 aired the program for most of its brief run was even more bizarre.

The sad thing is, the predecessor to The Drive - Alice 106.7 - actually sounded quite good in the final year before the rebrand. Management was too stupid to seize an opportunity for a tie-in with Alice Cooper.
