Got a bad feeling about the protests today…

Unread post by MotorCityRadioFreak »

I am very worried that all of these people on bridges are going to be hemmed in by MAGA.MAGA militias are on standby already for possible martial law on 4/20. This could get really ugly. All I can do is pray.

You seem to be fixated by these distopian themes. There are 280 million adults in this country, less than a million are in militas. I'm more worried about Karen's bitching about my dog than something like that.

Trump will not, and has never suggested Martial Law on April 20.
The possibility of the Insurrection Act of 1807 is there but that is NOT the same as martial law.
Given the seeming effectiveness of his border policies the Insurrection Act of 1807 seems unnecessary.

For the record on April 19 craig11152 is in full agreement with TC Talks. Its not the first time it's happened but rare enough to make note. :blink

You apparently have a short memory. During the last protests, there was a man who confronted several protestors with a gun. I believe it was Indiana. This is what MAGA does.

It’s not 1994. We aren’t talking about Gingrich on Capitol Hill. We are literally in a fight for the soul of America.

Do you want to be in El Salvador? I don’t. Wake up.

The Insurrection Act is a prelude to martial law. He can reintroduce the 1807 law tomorrow. Most experts then believe he would institute martial law in 72 hours in the name of safety.

Exactly what rationale will he have for doing this? Where’s the fire exactly?

Edit… reading the executive order from day one required a report by Easter Sunday on the state of the border. If he does the insurrection act followed by marshal law it will backfire at a nuclear level. He would be removed.

According to CNN both Pete hegseth and Christine Nome will tell the president the insurrection act does not need to be instituted at this point.

Bryce ended the game with an 88 yard TD pass. Also, fuck Donald Trump.

What logic based line of thought leads you to believe militias are ready to attack?

Also, a long gunman does not equate to a movement. According to Arlo Guthrie it would take 50 people a day.

No, no, you all. I don’t believe a thing Noem and Hegseth tell anyone. They are lying all the time to reporters. All I am saying is that they could still unleash hell tomorrow. In no way, shape, or form, am I saying the move against immigrants is justified. :rolleyes
