MSNBC liberal (whackjob) mainstay Joy Reid’s show has been canceled as part of a major overhaul by the network’s new president Rebecca Kutler, according to a report.
The 7 p.m. program hosted by ardent Trump critic Reid, 56, will be replaced by a new panel show featuring co-hosts Alicia Menendez, Michael Steele, and Symone Sanders Townsend, the New York Times reported, citing insiders.
I won't cheer or cry on the successes or failures of individual alleged "news" networks. If a group biases to one side, and the popular pendulum swings the other way, that group is in trouble. Non-news companies suffer the same fate.
Withholding certain news from airing, asking trick questions, twisting the answers, and taking a pro or con perspective on any particular candidate or issue, and overall bias in news reporting in general is simply wrong.
I solve the problem personally by simply not discussing politics with friends and acquaintances. As for my news sources, I've tried, and I simply cannot find an unbiased, reputable, and well staffed unbiased news source. One is as bad as the another, and its shameful.
Individual networks should compete on the depth to which they dig on an issue, the efficiency with which they present the facts, and the talent of the investigators and reporters. They should not bias news simply so they can provide a platform for people who have already formed opinions to come and feel more comfortable in having done so. That is all that is happening today.
The box that many broadcasters won’t look outside of was made in 1969 and hasn’t changed significantly since.
Joy Reid never seem to be happy always angry when seeing clips of her show as I don't watch MSNBC way too far left. And didn't really get into the primetime opinion shows other than The O'Reilly Factor the last few years I only had it on in the background other than the talking points and the viewer e-mails.
