Capitalizing Username

Unread post by calvert deforest 2.0 »

I just reactivated with a new username as it appears the previous account was deactivated (probably because I don't log in that often). Wondered if there was a way to capitalize some of the letters in the new username since I registered it with all lower-case. If not no big deal, but I just wondered if there was a way to do it in the user control panel (i.e. calvert deforest 2.0 to Calvert DeForest 2.0). Thanks!

Your original account's password was impacted by the PHP issue that occurred in November. Many users' incumbent passwords stopped working due to the glitch.

I will send you a private message to your 2.0 account containing the new password for your original account, if you wish to resume using it.

Nice to have you back. The same thing happened to me. I just re registered with my old user name. It let me capitalize it. Not sure why you ran into an issue.

I think it was that I didn't capitalize the username when I registered the second account. Thanks to M.W.'s assistance my original account is re-activated. We're cookin' with gas! :D

Hell, may as well throw my request in the ring. Motor City Radio Freak original account? I think it was purged in 2020. I doubt you can retrieve it, M W but just for funsies....

Happened to me too, but maybe after almost 20 years of posting under my previous name, might be time for a change.
