For the past couple of weeks weeks, Fox 17 morning news anchor and traffic reporter Robb Westaby has been notably absent. This morning, the station aired a video of Robb explaining that he has been undergoing medical tests and will be having heart bypass surgery this Friday, January 31. And will be off several weeks afterwards for recovery.
I wish him the best-traffic can be boring to report on but somehow he manages to make it interesting.

I worked with Robb in radio (he was my interviewer for a job, pre-internet!) and have been running into him in recent years as he participated in YMCA Spin classes.
A very good and supportive guy, just the same as you see when he's on camera. Offering my best thoughts for a full recovery.
