First, Bob Talbert then Mike Downey and now Mike Duffy has left us but like them he leaves behind great memories and great columns. I like to think those three men have met in Heaven and having a good time swapping stories and making new memories. Rest in peace.

Sorry to bump this old thread but I just had to say that the piece remembering him is probably the fullest and most detailed piece like that I've read in a long time. That was a great love letter to the man from Julie Hinds, someone else that has worked in pop culture features at the Freep for a very long time. That's the secret, of course. She's still there and she's a professional too.
