So far, the Dodgers & Mets have been a series of rotating no-doubters. The Guardians & Yanks, on the other hand...!

As I mentioned in the Tigers thread, yesterday's Cleveland win in ten innings was a nerve-wracking classic and the most exciting game I've seen in ages! Yankee fans must've went from ecstatic to frantic to downright distraught. Poor babies!

Currently, the Mets are up 10-2 in the fifth in their elimination game. Ex-Tiger Flaherty was absolutely wracked; his fastball apparently has lost two mph since his last start.

Dodgers are clawing back in the sixth 10-6.

Besides the Mets, they can all go to hell. LA and NYY paid for their success.

Uhh, the Mets have the highest total payroll in MLB! The Yanks and Dodgers are #2 and #5 respectively. The Guardians are #23.

The Mets are down three games to two and heading back to L.A. after their slugfest victory last night.

Cleveland is facing elimination tonight in their last home game down three games to one. Star closer ( ) Emmanuel Clase has proven to be more vulnerable than anyone expected. (And how!)

Yanks are in the World Series, Fox should be ecstatic. Now all they need is the Dodgers and they'll have the two largest television markets, New York is wrapped up.

Begrudgingly rooting for the Mets to win it for that reason.

MLB and Fox got exactly what they wanted.

This is the matchup I wanted the least.

If both championship series ended in five games, the WS would have started earlier.

Note that they don't play Sundays by design. MLB knows the NFL would kick their ass in ratings.

Flaherty vs. Cole is the pitching matchup.

Yankees in 7 over the Dodgers MLB & Fox are happy with this matchup.

Freeman hits a no doubt walkoff grand slam in the 10th.

They walked Betts and Freeman slams the first pitch like it's 1988.

Yankees lose! Thhhhhhhaaa Yankees...lose!
