Diane Larson retiring

A place to go for those of you who wish to discuss happenings in OH, IN, IL, WI, and Ontario. OSU sucks, by the way.

Diane Larson retiring

Last newscast November 14.

Her and Conklin have been a quality tandem for years and helped 13 leave 11 in the dust especially after Anderson and Peterson left WTOL. Wonder who replaces her. Kristian Brown seems like the logical choice but they could promote Christina Williams as well. Just so it's not Sashem Braindead.

They could always steal the 26-year-old beauty pageant contestant (no shite) from WTOL for the win?

Sashem Brey is moving to 5 and 6pm starting on Monday

Claire Mitchell was mentioned on Facebook to get the morning spot.

Ugh, well at least 13's morning news might be watchable for the first time in many many years

I must say, WTVG had a great send-off for Diane. A lot of former WTVG staff as well as other notable local and state people wished her the best of luck in retirement, and the special they had showed some great archival footage of some of the work.

I personally like Sashem so I wish her the best of luck. Claire is an up-and comer and has a lot more laid back demeanor compared to Sashem, so she should be decent on their morning newscast.
