Girl dies on AAPS property in February, 2023, and there are new details. What does failing MLive do? Puts it behind a paywall: https://www.mlive.com/news/ann-arbor/20 ... chool.html

I wouldn't have an issue paying for a quality product, but MLive is not one.

It is an old story. It was covered reasonably well at the time.

Mlive is a failing business model. I go there and see their"subsciber exclusive" stories that every radio station and TV station already has on their sites for free. I just Google their headlines and the stories are available. Now, if, I could still read their rag on paper, I could at least keep birds.
The old paper newspaper subscriber model is beyond failed.
Now if I want to read about Michigan's favorite restaurant, or who voted top team, or the mansion for sale in A2, or any other publicly available information, they want to be paid...
Sink Titanic, sink......

Second thought, they stopped printing papers, yet their old paper boxes are decorating country roads for mmiles, shouldn't they be required by law to remove these road hazards before they kill somebody?

Do they even do a once a week printed thing anymore? When the Ann Arbor News closed that’s what it went to with the rest online.

They were printing AnnArbor.com twice a week when they switched in 2009.

I remember there being a big ad packed Sunday one… what was the other day? And is there even one anymore? AnnArbor.com just goes to MLive now… hadn’t tried that in a decade or so.

As some of us say... If the story is 3 days old it just right for M-Live. You can get better local info from 'Nextdoor' web page.
