Greg Gania and Dan Hasty have had radio fill-in roles on the Tigers Radio Network, doesn't Dan do U of D basketball? I have a choice, but I see so few Tigers' games on TV it's not worth flashing here.

I'd be fine with Dickerson on TV and Impemba on the radio.

More likely, Dickerson moves to TV and a play by play man from one of the Tigers' farm teams gets promoted to fill Dan's current job.

As pointed out by Evan Woodbery on mlive.com, Dickerson is an employee of the Tigers, while Shepard worked for Bally Sports and not the team. Bally would have to hire Dickerson separately if it wants him for the TV side. And Dickerson is known to have resisted TV work multiple times over the years.

I thought the best radio team this year was Dickerson and Dirks, but Dirks probably doesn't want/need the gig full-time with his day job going well.

And I agree, do whatever it takes to bring Impemba back. His firing was likely a case of FSD not wanting to appear to be playing favorites in the Mario vs. Rod dustup, but the punishment then didn't fit the crime. End the exile, buy him out of his Red Sox deal and bring Mario home.

My bad, I didn't know he parted ways with the Red Sox. His X/Twitter caption still reads "Angels -> Tigers -> Red Sox," so I (wrongly) assumed he was still there.

In that case, it should be real easy to bring him back, assuming he would want to. Make it so, Bally, make it so!

As to Rathbun, he calls the Atlanta Hawks on TV, but had a big physical collapse on air in Dec. '22. Apparently he got by that.
