After 8 seasons, another woke show got cancelled! Looks like Fox 2 is going to have to work overtime in preparing its afternoon lineup for the 2022-2023 season.

Those decisions will be made in LA and not locally.

Several restaurants that I have visited would keep Channel 2 on all day on their TV sets. Often the sound was down, but the smug self-righteousness of their facial expressions always came through.

True but Nick Cannon's theme is worse and has the audience sing it coming out of every break. Yes, I tortured myself by watching the show a time or two.

That show won't be missed by me,always seemed silly as I went by Channel surfing.

It was good until the pandemic. Watching all of them talking to the screen was off-putting and they really didn't react off of each other.

Yes. They were always on in restaurants.

That show was never any good. I got stuck watching it on my break at work more often than I ever cared to ...

The Real (and Wendy) were meant to appeal to a certain demographic.
In a nutshell, cows laying on the couch. That was the market. A large market.

I'm sure whatever replaces The Real will also appeal to cows laying on the couch.
Just like the replacement for Wendy is going to appeal to braless big women that never get off the sofa wearing the same moo-moo they've had on the day before.

All I said may sound mean spirited. But all kidding aside, there is a sizable audience that The View/The Chew/The Real/Wendy, etc, appeals to. For the most part, my first two paragraphs pretty describe that sizable audience.
