What's the deal with the :60 second sportscast during the 6AM half hour (at 6:23) on WWJ with ZERO audio from last night's no hitter?

I was listening to him I believe at 6:53 this morning and he mentioned the no-hitter right off the top and then he mentioned that the Red Wings were keeping the current Red Wing coach for next season.

More people have probably been tuning in to 97.1 anyway, because of the awkward new time for the WWJ sports reports.

I watched channel 2 this morning and they teased the no-hiiter at 8AM but didn't cover it until 8:45AM. Some mornings they don't even give late night scores in the morning show. Makes me wonder, if they are really a sports channel at all.

They did a nice job with it at about 5:40 a.m. Amy Andrews was really excited about it.

This has to be the easiest job in the world. I feel like such a dumbass earning a BS in chemistry and toiling in the pharmaceutical industry when instead I could’ve spent a total of 30 minutes of my day compiling sports audio for pithy updates and still made a living. Please tell me these update guys have real jobs elsewhere.

I'm more comfortable saying what someone *did* was "lazy" as opposed to saying they *are* lazy.
