This is big news. I wonder what changes may be made to NBC News, MSNBC, or CNBC.

Good riddance to bad rubbish. Maybe Lazarus will turn NBC back into a genuine news organization.radioandtventhusiast wrote: ↑Mon May 04, 2020 7:45 pm https://deadline.com/2020/05/nbcunivers ... 202925511/

New York and Chicago were all in with respect to their sanctuary status — until they were hit with the challenge of actually providing sanctuary. In other words, typical liberal hypocrisy.

Lazarus is largely responsible for the look and feel of NBC's Olympic coverage for the past number of years. Personally not a big fan of athletes being mostly ignored unless they're attractive, American or have a compelling weep story. I also like my announcers at the actual venue instead of calling the event watching a monitor in a VO booth setup on the 30 Rock 8H studio floor. But that's just me...
[EDIT: Thought I'd toss in images of the 8H announcer setup. You can almost smell the sweat of the athletes.

Too bad they haven't thought of putting the bleachers to use, and have an actual studio audience at 30 Rock to punctuate the coverage. (The preceding was sarcasm.)Lester The Nightfly wrote: ↑Mon May 04, 2020 10:59 pm [EDIT: Thought I'd toss in images of the 8H announcer setup. You can almost smell the sweat of the athletes.]
