Actually the tower is in Southfield, not Oak Park.
Structure Address:
24600 Greenfield Rd
Southfield, MI
You are correct that it's the same tower with WDRQ and WDMK.
This is the old school tower site that Bob Liggett bought and built back in the 80's when he owned WABX/WCLS.

An even-numbered address on Greenfield can't actually be in Southfield.
The site is in Oak Park.
However, it is VERY common for a postal address to be outside the actual municipality that the property is in.
For seven years, I lived in a little chunk of Detroit that was served by Redford's post office.
Some letters sent to me were to "Detroit, MI 48239", but many were to "Redford, MI 48239".
As for the TL move, I'm thinking that WADL(TV) could and should make a similar move (yes, they would need a DA with a null to the west and southwest - though the physical move to the OP/Sfld. Tower farm and increased antenna height would more than make up for it, and it would mean that OTA viewers' antennas would be aimed at them.

Correct.
The senior apartment across the street, on the Southfield side, is 25225. So 24600 would have to be on the OP side.

I double checked and you guys are correct, the tower is on the Oak Park side of the street. I was going by the address on record in Washington for the tower site.

I was in Richmond (northeastern Macomb County) a few days ago and suspected WDKL was already broadcasting from the new tower site, since the signal did not seem nearly as strong as before while it seemed a lot stronger than before in Oakland County. The signal here in Whitmore Lake seems about the same as before.

In the house radio at least, reception is the same in Canton. 102.9 is still fine, which it should be since I am in their protected area. I will check in the car tomorrow morning.
Speaking of 10/Greenfield, does the former Royal Oak Township section have Oak Park addresses? Most people not living there didn’t even know that wasn’t Oak Park, but seeing a bar there was the obvious sign (Oak Park did not allow bars for decades; the place had to move when the city annexed that portion of the township).

On the Radio-Locator.com page, clicking on the link for
Transmitter Location 42° 28' 16" N, 83° 12' 01" W
redirects to Google Maps, which identifies the site only as '
WQRS-FM Detroit Radio broadcaster"
Seriously, Google?

Still picking up WIOG and WWWW like gangbusters here in Brighton. Not making much difference here I guess.

I wonder what the closest first adjacent Class Bs in the nation are. These are around 37 miles apart. The fully spaced distance is 105 miles according to Section 73.207.

105.1 moved to the WCSX tower. I think they thought that they were losing service to the Downtown Detroit area from the lower ERP and location, as they went to 50 kW/150 meters. So now there are three directional licensed main facilities there, plus the AUX facilities, which are nondirectional.

How is the 102.7 K-Love signal downriver Riverview, Wyandotte, Woodhaven? I assume it disappears by Monroe?
