Is there any chance Entercom knew that Breeze 1.0 was just a stunt (maybe to throw off WNIC or something like that)? The number of titles in library were extremely small....I would have loved to be a fly on the wall to hear the discussions, all the way from the beginning, when Entercom pimped the AMP air talent.

I made a post about them adding the dot in the logo like 2 weeks ago, lol. It's been there for a bit

WNIC definitely responded to it if that was the goal. I listened today and noticed a different "sound".

Even this new Breeze 2.0 format has a tiny library though. I heard Otis Redding play twice before I finally had to shut it off

Lol, I kept rubbing The Breeze in WNIC's face on twitter a few weeks into the switch.

I feel stupid now for all the promoting I did for the Breeze all over Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc.
People are going to think why on Earth I was promoting the wrong format

I’ve been listening all day.... this evening has been better than earlier. I’m hearing more regular artists and songs from the breeze 1.0. It’s much better. Foreigner is on right now..... before that it was Paul McCartney. I hope they find a happy medium between the two playlists. But I’m much happier this past hour with the breeze.

I turn it on to hear Bobby Brown, ugh.
I need my fix of Seals and Crofts, Ambrosia, Gloria Estefan, Eagles, Genesis, Seal, Hall and Oates, Enya, etc. Back
Lol

EDIT:
Hotel California is on now! Good!

EDIT 2:
Don't Stop Believing is on for the 3rd time today....
They are clearly up to something to have such a tiny playlist for both Breeze incarnations.
But at least Breeze 1.0 was playing songs i missed and love.
I spent 3 hours this morning listening to RnB songs I've never even heard on the radio and hope to never hear again.

How can stations like Amp and Alt and Nash go for EVER with such terrible ratings, but they give The Breeze a month and a half...? I don't think people even know it flipped yet due to the holiday music. Jeez, give it a proper chance after the holiday. I was doing my best to promote it everywhere and to businesses. I really wanted it to succeed

Whoever is scheduling the music needs a new job.
It would actually sound better if they were to combine the 2 playlists and hit shuffle, imo.

Sitting through 4 hours of RnB/soul just to hear 2 soft rock songs.
Nobody is going to do that.
That sounds stupid even just saying it.

Clock has struck midnight and I'm hearing the old songs again.... so far. It's only been 20 minutes, lol.

Maybe my goal was accomplished?

Did you think I posted this just to whine?
No, of course not. I intended this to be read by Entercom.

If so, I hope they saved the old playlist and are not making it from scratch/vague memory

What if they did that little stunt just to see the reaction?
Not to burst your bubble but I think you are better at guessing then they are at paying attention to you...

What rage? I’m just pointing out that it’s rather doubtful that a corporation is making business decisions based on one person in one thread on an obscure message board. I’ve already said I wasn’t meaning any ill intent...

I suppose you are reading into my posts what you want or something... but it seems like any attempt to reel you in a bit towards Earth is met with hostility...
