Well said. Here are some further words of inspiration.Momo wrote: ↑Sun Jul 31, 2022 12:59 pm As we march into battle, my fellow Buzzards, we do so with the keen understanding that this is not a war of our choosing. No, it is Ron, and Ron alone, who - completely unprovoked - has brought this fight to us, the innocents. But with the engagement now joined, let us not shrink from our duty. We wage this conflict not merely to defend our honor, and that of our womenfolk and future generations of Sports Talk listeners, but for all the many holing up in the Guest Protection Program, the maligned maids, the uncredited screeners, Matt, and, yes, even Martin. And when we ultimately prevail in this long twilight struggle, as surely we will, we can proudly call ourselves the Ultimate Survivors:

Thanks for the explanation. We know you're in a tough spot between the always-challenging Ron and the outside world. Anything you can do to get the podcasts posted is always appreciated.Warriorstrong13 wrote: ↑Sun Jul 31, 2022 7:54 pmRon doesn’t want anything brought up about buzzboard on the air. The same geek last week kept calling and bringing it up. He’s been trying to do the same thing tonight! Just doing what I’m told.
Re: Ron Cameron
Poor Luke.Imagine a life where you are so low that you have to answer to the likes of Ron Cameron.Luke was hoping to create some attention,on the buzzboard to promote his show. When that failed he turned on the buzzboard.Maybe Luke really believes that Ron is going to open,a restaurant.By kissing Ron's ass he will be rewarded with a job washing dishes.Bobbert wrote: ↑Mon Aug 01, 2022 10:10 amThanks for the explanation. Re: Ron Cameron
If Ron’s experiencing writer’s block writing his autobiography, I suggest he narrow his approach. “All the Famous People I Almost Met.”

Ron's fantasy about all the unsuccessful sales calls that he's had to endure:

Re: Ron Cameron
Luke is the Operations Manager according to the website. He could not take Ron's stupid orders but chooses not to. He'd rather latch onto a guy who hasn't been relevant in 40 years over a group who could and did promote his own show. He's probably screening because the other guy quit or got fired.

Re: Ron Cameron
Something about last nights show, not sure what. The stories even though they are old, are really, really getting lame.
Maybe in September when football starts the old “new” stories return it will make things a bit better
But these topics are just getting old and tired
1 ilitch family idolizes me and wants my advise
2 Tiger public relations and Matt shepherd are the problems with this team
3 Cade is ok, but Halliburton is the guy
4 interviews with reporters from a specific sports area and asks questions for a entire different sport
Just my beef for a Monday, I am sure I will be tuned in on Sunday with all my fellow buzzboard brothers.

Could not agree more.I have not listened to the show for about a month.I always check the buzzboard to keep up,with the train wreck. The buzzboard is more entertaining than the show.radiofan1974 wrote: ↑Mon Aug 01, 2022 1:11 pm Something about last nights show, not sure what. Giving Credit Where Credit Is Due Department: Podcasts for the July 31, 2022 broadcast (replete with correct date) are posted on WDTK's website. A caveat regarding the recordings: the volume levels between the Darryl Wood advertisements and Ron's show differ significantly.
Re: Ron Cameron
Yeah, I thought all the fireworks on this board since last night may have resulted in the podcasts being held hostage. Thankfully, they are up on the WDTK website. Worth it certainly to hear Vince Ellis non-committed audible shrug when R-Sizzle told him Vince can return in the new time slot in a couple months!ShempLives wrote: ↑Mon Aug 01, 2022 2:03 pm Giving Credit Where Credit Is Due Department: Podcasts for the July 31, 2022 broadcast (replete with correct date) are posted on WDTK's website. Re: Ron Cameron
Luke is responding to PMs in fairness. Maybe you can convince him we are at least a third of his audience and to be nice.
Re: Ron Cameron
You are talking about a screen caller who does not let people call in.This for a show that has so few callers they let you call in once an hour.I don't think Luke has the smarts to understand that we are at least a third of his audience.
Re: Ron Cameron
I started to listen to the prodcast of last night’s show and noticed that one minute into the show Ron reads a spot, seemingly appropriate, for dumpster rentals.
