He's gotta be talking about Nimrod. Given the fact both men used to work on the early morning newscast and Carr had to play second fiddle to him, it makes sense. The fact Nimrod landed what appears to be a great job in Chicago must be driving Jason nuts.
Normally when someone looks and sounds like that they've pulled a Bill Bonds and hit the bottle first... yikes.

On top of that his wife went missing for the last 20 minutes of the 6PM news on 2 tonight. Could have been potty break or time for dinner.

I don't know what the controversy is, he was clearly talking shit about Evrod on the OTT, management told him to stop so he started talking shit about management looking like he was totally drunk. Yeah his TV career is over, total self-immolation.

Isn't that the exact same video posted by unscopedaircheck?
If it was Evrod, then I could see that "oil and water" thing with Jason. Could never envision those two guys going out for a beer. Not sure why Jason is so worked up about it since Evrod is gone now, but I guess I could see him being a bit jealous if Evrod really did get a sweet new gig. Wonder if he was also getting some preferential treatment while at 'DIV?

Forgive me for being unaware, but what was the issue with Evord?

The FREEP article had a couple interesting tidbits....
"Co-workers told the Free Press that Carr had been admonished by management half a dozen times before his final show, in which
he described unnamed colleagues as unfriendly. In one previous incident, the co-workers said, he left the set during a commercial break
to browbeat someone working in the control room."
"
Carr said during the rant that he has "never encountered" so many unfriendly people at any of the other news stations he has worked at, and that they never stop to talk to him."
"You and I both work with somebody, and you know exactly who I'm gonna talk about," Carr said to Hobbs about an unnamed co-worker, "who is infamously cranky, cantankerous, sullen. Rarely smiles or laughs...
I see him being gregarious with other people, but all I have ever gotten from him is cantankerous. Why he and I are not friends... I literally have no idea."
"
Carr said a manager in the building once told him he was "aloof," a characterization he disputed at length."
"
I find three in 10 people that work in this building to be aloof."

Good info. The Detroit News article did not mention the half dozen prior reprimands.
The other info in the Freep article aligns with the Detroit News report.
So funny that the Detroit News article is behind a paywall while the Freep article isn't.
Most of the stuff you post from the News is behind a paywall… clearly you have a subscription… I realize if it lets you in you have no way to tell that.
