I hope they have the balls to play Sneaker Pimps and Prodigy.
Care to give examples?MWmetalhead wrote: ↑Fri Sep 02, 2022 5:59 pm I like KROQ's A to Z list better. Not a big difference between the two stations, but there are a few harder rocking songs on the KROQ list that WDZH won't play.
True. Speaking of Michigan bands, whatever happened to Greta Van Fleet? I was surprised that a 60 year old dude I know was into them. I think the Canadian bands have a greater following here as well because of the past influence of 89X and the River. It bums me out to know we can't enjoy the new music. I know lots of people hated CanCon, but I like it. I will just be here listening to the Tragically Hip.MWmetalhead wrote: ↑Sun Sep 04, 2022 6:50 pm On an A to Z themed weekend, Fault 98.7 couldn't even play The Verve Pipe or Tracy Bonham, two artists with popular singles in the 90s (multiple popular singles in the case of the former) who are from MICHIGAN!!!
Audacy really does take a half-assed approach to programming 98.7.
The dumbasses who sit (and shit) in NYC truly know next to nothing about Michigan's music scene, don't they?

I was down in The Parkersburg WV/Marietta Ohio recently, there is this low power station 96.3 The Beet(yes that's how it's spelled) and they were playing 6 underground. Have not heard that one in years.
