Rachael has that right to say University Of Michigan has done wrong since she is a victim herself let her speak her truth on the matter. Michigan needs to pay the victims I wouldn't be surprised if it could be $100 to $500 Million.

When his elbow began dislocating during the season, officials in the athletic training department taped his elbow but his left hand was "swollen like a red balloon" because of the taping. He was told to go see Anderson.

"No way was that going to happen," Deluca wrote. "I didn't go back to see Dr. Anderson and I quit getting my arm taped and therefore spent the rest of the wrestling season trying to keep my elbow from dislocating."

After the season ended, he went home for the summer and Johannesen sent him a letter that referenced him "wasting" his junior year. The letter was even sent to his high school wrestling coach.

Deluca was mad, and wrote back an angry letter, leaving little out.

"I mentioned my elbow dislocating," he wrote. "The bed wetting. The trouble sleeping I was having. I mentioned Dr. Drop Your Drawers Anderson in that letter."

The coach took away his scholarship and removed him from the team.

University of Michigan faces first lawsuit alleging sex abuse by doctor

https://www.detroitnews.com/story/news/ ... 954759002/

"UM knew that this doctor was abusing patients and they chose instead of terminating him to foist him on the athletic department and require its student athletes to see him, and we need to get to the bottom of that," he said. "Right now, U of M is not giving any answers on that issue. "

"UM has been engaging in a cover-up for 40 years and for the past 18 months under President (Mark) Schlissel," said Mike Cox, a Livonia-based attorney who represents the John Doe who filed the lawsuit. "It’s a massive cover-up. I'm a UM grad, and we are supposed to be the leaders and the best. In this case, we were worse than the people we like to look down our nose at."

How old were these folks who were "abused"? 18? 20?

We're not talking about any under-age kids, are we? The Nasser case clearly had underage kids and their parents had to know something was going on but as far as I've seen, in the UofM case they were all "adults".

This is a TERRIBLE justification. The man committed heinous crimes and was a despicable piece of shit. Michigan's response has been much better than MSU's response, but that doesn't change the facts that both Nassar and Anderson were predatory criminals.

Correct, Matt.

That was a truly idiotic and disgusting comment. The wrestler who filed the suit actually was 17 when he was first molested and claimed to have been some 3 dozen times. Even if they were "adults", this was about power that the molester had over these teens. An absurd comment.

And I seriously doubt the parents of the kids that the pile of human garbage Nassar molested "had to know something"

What does "km" stand for? The "m" has to be "moron".

Steptoe & Johnson is the firm that the U of Michigan has hired to investigate Dr Anderson’s sexual assaults. Among Steptoe’s list of infamous clients are Roman Polanski & Jefferey Epstein. (not a joke).
