I would think the power and brand WJR would have brought Ron some star power for guests instead of these same recycled guys of Ray Scott, Denny, Paul Woods, Mark Wilson but what do I know. This is a bit confusing Ron.

The only thing I can think of why he turned it down is Ron actually have to a little show prep instead of this seat of his pants talk. Too much work, he's better off at a lower power radio station where he can just throw the Sunday sports page down on the table and work off that.

It sounds brokered to me. WJR wanting “a piece of the action” probably means they are allowed a certain amount of the hour for their own ads. Right now all WDTK has is the TOH Town Hall news update.
