Whoa! Taylor Decker ain't returning after all! Sounds like the team wanted him to take a pay cut.

Sooo, left tackle is yet another hole on our O-line. Sure, Sewell can play the position, he did so in college. This has gotta put the tackle position at the forefront of draft plans and perhaps free agency.

A rebuild is staring the Lions square in the face, in my opinion.

The good news is NFL rebuilds can happen quickly if the front office is competent.

I'll be surprised if the Lions win more than 8 games next season.

Lions sign depth OT Larry Borom. He started 14 games for the Dolphins last season. He'll probably be our new Dan Skipper; I can't believe the Lions are done at the tackle position.

I think the offense will be very good, maybe great if Laporta comes back strong.

The defense is a train wreck.

No, it's because of the Lions' great drafting in previous years and our need to sign and keep those players past their rookie contracts that the league-imposed salary cap precludes offering competitive deals to many of those veteran players who were brought in to fill positional vacancies.

I think it's a testament to the present Lions organization that these "fleeing" players have improved to the point of being assessed as valuable to other teams.

With the Lions now having nine picks in the upcoming draft thanks to being granted an extra fifth round compensatory pick, it allows Holmes some flexibility...and we all know how Holmes "loves to cook".

I was just checking new center Cade Mays' physical stature. Holy shit, he's listed at 6'6" and 325 lb.! That's pretty damn tall for an interior lineman; it's a good thing Goff is fairly tall himself. I just hope those quick over-the-middle passes to LaPorta and St. Brown don't hit Mays in the back of the helmet!
