He'll fit right in with hokey cheerleader Dan Miller and the ever agreeable, useless Lomas Brown.
"You are so right, Dan" should be a drinking game.

Maybe Dan just knows what he's talking about. 🤷‍♂️

Marc Ryan, who agreed the Tigers should have been sellers back in July, now says they should have been buyers and complaining about those who disagree and he was right all along. He's an absolute joke and hypocrite, almost to Ron Cameron level.

I don't see what 97.1 sees in this guy. He's as bad as Valenti.

I just saw on twitter Ryan called into a Tampa station for an interview... they're calling him a "Detroit Lions expert" lord help us all.

This morning he was blasting fans for not filling up Comerica Park to support the Tigers.

I really don’t understand why they got this guy on the radio when there are a few old sports talkers out there in the Detroit area who would be chomping at the bit at a chance.

There's a reason they're not on the air anymore. Old people always reference players from when they were kids or starting out in the business, since forever, sounding out of touch. Ernie Harwell watched a lot of great players, but his references were always about players from the '50s. Listening to the Pistons on the radio, Mahorn does the same, mentioning players from the '80s or '90s. Wilbon on PTI mentions Willie Mays once a week on ESPN.

Also, the old heads like Stoney have made millions over the years. They didn't work at Walmart all of their life and have to work into their 70s. Let the youngsters make a quarter of those millions nowadays.

He's quickly become a management homer for any Detroit team just like Squeaky Karsch.

Toxic positivity. Him and Ryan are the only 2 sports jocks I've ever heard that advocate and censor callers that don't agree with them.

Mark was co-hosting with Pat Caputo this morning and it was cringe worthy. They must not be in studio together or a fist fight might have broke out. The disdain that Pat has for Mark is palpable.

Lazier than Lomas Brown?

The whole Lions radio team is brutal. Dan Miller is more hokey by the week, and now him, Lomas Brown, and the other guy are talking over each other, all at once. It’s high school level broadcast bad.

Marc Ryan is as lame and loud as a Lions reporter as his normal 97.1 spot, or his weekly national show.
