Directv Stream doesn’t carry 20 either. They do carry 50. Be nice if they added it next week when they add CW programming but I’m not holding my breath. I want 20 so I can watch channel 7 news at 10 p.m., there’s no CW shows I watch. I reply on WXYZ app to watch their news at 10.

I know that call letters don't really mean much anymore (execpt to broadcast geeks like me), but anyone think we'll get new calls for 20 now that they'll be the CW affiliate?

Mr. Adell said you are 100% correct. There has been no material change to the purchase agreement. The CW affiliation at Ch. 20 will be short lived. He also wanted to share this clip with you…
(Mr. Adell said he is just giving the man what he wants…he must like it)

Per the article at
https://www.nexttv.com/news/wmyd-detroi ... cw-station :
"Adell Broadcasting chief Kevin Adell told B+C he did not have an affiliation agreement with The CW, but agreed to air the network as an “accommodation” as he awaited the FCC’s signoff on the WADL sale. Prior to the WMYD announcement, Adell said Nexstar should enter into an affiliation agreement and pay WADL to run the network."
What an idiot. Of course CW didn't pay - they knew they didn't need to. If he stops airing the network, he tanks the value of his station just ahead of a sale, and CW just moves to another channel. Adell was too busy acting like a big shot waving his tiny dick around to realize that, and ended up screwing himself over.

Imagine sitting on a civil jury and having this case come at you ... the laughter in the jury room at Adell's audacity would make that $30 paycheck the best money earned ever.

Does he still expect that $75M? Because this isn't tortious interference, it's self-sabotage.

Why no one does business with Kevin Adell he will lose the court battle. Amazed that Kevin has kept WADL this long not making a lot of money for broadcast business as he isn't a very good businessman doesn't he have to pay the feds since there after him?

This part made me laugh:
"Adell said Nexstar sent “some old, retired guy” to hand-deliver a contract concerning the CW Network. Adell said he was not impressed with the way the Nexstar executive looked — he mentioned more than once that the executive, whom he didn’t name, was wearing gym shoes"
The absolute nerve of that guy to wear gym shoes in the presence of His Royal Highness, Sir Kevin Adell, the Duke of Detroit.

And when asked if he'd sue Nexstar, Adell said "I’m gonna sue Scripps first, and then I’m gonna see"
Not what you want to be saying about the company that you expect $75M from. Looks like ol' Kevin will never need to leave his house again.
