I don’t know why people do. Jamie’s Cryin’ is a mid-tier song, at best. Give me 5150, OU812, or F.U.C.K. cuts any day. Hell, even tracks from Balance deserve a spin every now and then.

However, if you really wanna play Dave, Women and Children First and Fair Warning cuts are fine with me. Great songs on those two.

It's a fun song to drum along to.

I'll take Sammy over Dave seven days a week and twice on Sunday, but OU812? That would make a good EP. Lot of the riffs are great, but the lyrics? Ugh. One song is nothing but "woo! Yeah! Oh yeah!" and Black & Blue is damn near terrible lyrically.

Decided to throw my Spotify playlist on shuffle. First two songs? Eminence Front and Rain on the Scarecrow. Now it’s Rhythm Corps’ Common Ground.

All three are great songs you don’t hear often, or even at all, especially the Rhythm Corps cut. Think I last heard that one on the River or Doug-FM.

But no, gotta schedule in the mandatory plays of Back In Black, Don’t Stop Believin’ and Jump again.

I know I’m a jaded listener who probably won’t understand programming, but throw us a goddamn bone once in a while.

Rain on the Scarecrow, eh? Solid song, solid album. I'm much more of a Lonesome Jubilee fan. You won't be hearing that any time soon.

I agree with some of the placements and disagree strongly with others. Jamie's Cryin' is rated far too high, whereas Best of Both Worlds, Top of the World, Poundcake, and Where Have All the Good Times Gone are rated too lowly.

Yikes. I disagree with the placements of most of that list.

I think "Best of Both Worlds" is probably my favorite VH song. Eddie's opening guitar riff is outstanding and the chorus is very catchy.

I love the "Dave can't sing but he's such a great front man" argument. That's like saying "Yeah, this guy runs a kitchen, but he can't cook. He's one hell of a plumber, though!"
