Crime isn’t the only thing happening in this area. It’s still a major television market.
Track record of them saying like they claim is not looking good as they should be broadcasting now. Top 15 market. Detroit once had 4 news departments and will have 4 yet again. It was just time for CBS to get back in the news game.

But do we really NEED 4? This market is barely top 15... as in #15. But a lot of it plays like something in the 30's. It has a severely degraded viewership of the existing news content. It had that going against it as far back as the mid 1980's when ABC sold 7... part of that was because 7 was severely underperforming the other ABC owned stations in terms of its profitability. So the reality is more complicated.
