Canha batting cleanup tonight. Why? I'd rather flip him with Ibanez who is batting 6th.

Angels are a dumpster fire, so dropping another to them would add to the patheticness.

Hinch has to be on the hot seat. He's part of, but not the whole reason why the Tigers are garbage.

The Angels scored three late to win 5-2.

Detroit scored two runs on two hits. All in the third inning off Zach Plesac.

Tonight's loss puts Detroit 15 games back in the division.

Christ.

And yeah, I expect lots of articles from the Detroit media about how nice Baez's sweep tags are until their hand is absolutely forced.

If Tigers management knew about this, they are equally guilty. This sounds worse than Jerry Sandusky.

If true, this makes the belt stealing incident look like a good deed. Absolutely sick.

Detroit media won’t report it until national does.

Even if she is making this up Monroe is done in Detroit.

The Tigers actually won, 7-6, but the Angels scored five runs in the bottom of the ninth.

I was at a Tiger-Angel game in the 80s when we had a 7 run lead in the ninth. Eventually lost the game on a Dick Schofield grand slam.

I remember watching that late at night after coming home from the bar.

Keider Montero is pitching tonight. Mize is now on the IL with a hamstring injury.

I was going to complain about Carson Kelly batting fourth tonight, but he just hit a grand slam, and now Perez just went back-to-back.

Tigers 5, Twins 0 in the third. They are hitting off David Festa, who is making his second start in the majors.
