Take a breather, but we need all the anti-Trumpers ready when the regime takes control on 1/20.
Ready for what?
Or ready to do what?

Just curious what that means to you?
Technically I am an "anti-Trumper" since I voted for Kamala because she wasn't Trump.

What are we getting ready for or to do?

We know you have your blinders on and aren't going to remove them. If you can't see that Trump is staffing his regime with loyal hacks and that he's already gearing up to go after his enemies, you are CD 94.7 level clueless. Wake the fuck up.

The Project 2025 chair talked about revolutions that will remain bloodless and Craig didn’t see that as an abnormal choice of words just on its face.

You didn't remotely answer my question.
It was a real honest question. Is it just bitching and moaning and playing a victim for 4 years?

That's just it, Victimhood politics and just being a crybaby. I can't predict the future, human beings can do great things, horrible things and some are just stupid.

I'm willing to give the new administration a chance. The border being the big one.

This is what we're going to have the next 4 years, if Harris won, I would tell you the same. I'm concerned about some of the stuff for sure, am I going to go into a safe space, play with legos , eat cookies & mild, and have scheduled crying times? I'm at a loss for words on that. NO.

I'll leave it at that.

Being Ready to push back is equivalent to hiding in a safe space? Are you on drugs or something? The oppositions job is to oppose as the quote goes. That’s exactly what Matt is referring to.

Oh the humanity. Like a car wreck in Idaho unless you’re standing there or in it or stick behind it this affects the universe in no way whatsoever but it makes a good spectacle. Kinda like arguing about who takes a leak where or who sticks their rod in what place behind closed doors. Your first clue it’s bullshit that is not relevant to anything is the source you’re using. Do better than FOX. Their entire MO is gaslighting people into thinking things that are irrelevant are the most earth shaking things in human history.

Like this opinion in the headline presented as if they are dressed like the AP for Halloween:
'We're headed down a very problematic path: universities are producing a generation that can't face the uncertainties and challenges of life,' Campus Reform correspondent Emily Sturge said
Ostensibly this person is some sort of reporter about campus reform or some such mythical position. In reality that sentence is complete trash. There are thousands of colleges and millions of students. It happens here and there and “EVERYBODY IS SCREWED UP IN THIS NEW GENERATION FOR LIFE AND WE ARE DOOMED BY THOSE INFERNAL COMMUNISTS AND THEIR WOKENESS! SOCIETY MAY BE WRECKED UNLESS WE ROOT OUT THE LIBERALS!” C’mon man… that’s beyond absurd on its face. Nobody is gonna sit there are go into the fetal position about everything and not learn to deal with life. It’s like saying there was a house fire and so every house may burn down soon. You gotta understand… you want to hang with some of us… this is too weak to hold up.

English translation… who the fuck cares if a class was cancelled and why. This is supposed to be a National “news” outlet and they are reporting on an issue like they are the local college newspaper reporting the latest gossip on campus as if it’s news. It’s not even news or important for the guy who owns a house that abuts the property of the university that’s how dumb it is. Absolutely atrociously pathetic.
Donald Trump… In your guts you know he’s nuts.

Anyway, back to my OP.

I'm noticing that I fucked up. When I open my YouTube, it automatically shows me podcasts and political videos from channels I frequent and related stuff. It's not that I'm really in the mood for music very much these days, but I need to reset the algorithm. Every video I'm tempted to click on. I really backed myself into a corner on this. It's been almost nothing but politics for months. I'm suddenly not very up for it anymore.

If you watch lots of other stuff it’ll quickly change. Ironically I am investigating whether I have adult ADHD and quickly the selections have turned to that and football after I watched some highlights. Resetting that is easy. The political stuff really hung around for me until I unsubscribed from Meidas Touch and watched other stuff.

I have 3 hobbies; fixing old cars, Phish/Billy Strings and playing instruments. Maybe get a guitar.

I have two guitars and drums, plus three kids that keep me VERY busy. This is only while I work and stream. Old Drew and Mike shows have been helping.
